The Mumbai Tree Project
Trees by area
There are numerous corners of Mumbai that house clusters of old and extraordinary trees. Some are botanical gardens, some are residential and office areas, others are mangroves. Some can be found in unexpected spaces, like police stations, hospital compounds and along railway tracks. We aim to capture some of the notable trees in clusters across Mumbai with photos, conversations and stories.
